KMi’s Anna De Liddo and Miriam Fernandez present Catalyst and DecarboNet to the EC in Brussels, in occasion of the first meeting of CAPS projects.
CAPS is the ICT10 topic Collective Awareness Platforms for Sustainability and Social Innovation, that was part of the FP7 programme in the last call and that will be followed on in the Horizon 2020 Call2 that will open in June 2014.
The meeting started with very interesting presentations from Fabrizio Sestinini and Nicole Dewandre and then followed with the presentation of the 12 CAPS projects between which two see KMi as a key player!
A common denominator for the CAPS community
A strong enthusiasm and passion for citizen engagement in several facets of society is the common denominator for the CAPS community. Ranging from better informed deliberation, collaborative decision making, grassroots movements, new currencies, sustainability, behavioural change and social inclusion, the CAPS community brings together researchers, industry and community networks to build a new engine for sustainability and ethics in the digital world.
It was so exciting to see so many people that want to change the word all in one room! 🙂
