The LTIC Funding Sub-Group agreed to allocate £6,672 to this project in the financial year 2003/04. The Funding Sub-Group felt that the proposed work fitted the bidding criteria well and the possible integration of two communication applications to make stronger CMC tool may well produce some interesting outcomes for the University. KMi provided the venue for the recent meeting of the UCLH leadership programme. Participants came from Corous, SHSW, OUBS, UCL Hospitals NHS Trust and Homerton Hospital and were putting together ideas for a leadership programme for NHS staff.
Peter Whalley is now a referee for the Wellcome Trust's Engaging Science programme. This follows success in bidding for a £30k grant (start July 1st) under the Trust's Peoples Award Scheme
