KMi Develops OU Photobooth Mobile Application

Paul Hogan in KMi has developed an Android and iOS application on behalf of Learning Innovation that will allow students to share fun photos edited with OU themed emojis on social media.

Although intended for students the app is free and so anyone will be able to use the app and promote The Open University.

Learning Innovation Senior Product Development Manager Elizabeth Ellis who champions OU Photobooth says:

‘Our students form very deep connections with each other on soclal media – they use it for support, to celebrate their successes, and to vent their frustrations.  I’ve often seen students joking that they would love an OU emoji to express a specific emotion.  Hopefully they’ll enjoy using these light-hearted stickers to share their stories.’

The application that will be available in early August allows the user to snap photos or use existing ones from their gallery and add fun emojis and text and then share via social media, text and email.
